Jodi Gershoni

Jodi is an independent educational consultant based in the Washington, DC metropolitan area. She helps students gain admission to some of the most prestigious colleges and universities worldwide, working with each student individually to identify “best fit” schools for their academic and personal needs and advising them on what matters leading up to and during the admissions process.

Jodi has built her practice on truly understanding each student’s and family’s educational goals. She believes a successful college admissions experience is a team effort: she teaches the student to own the process and advises each step of the way.

Jodi attended the University of Texas at Austin, where she earned her Bachelor of Business Administration with a specialty in Marketing. After graduation she moved to Washington, DC, where she worked for Senator Bob Kerrey and the Democratic Senatorial Campaign Committee, then spent 20 years in marketing for early-stage companies and non-profits in the education space.

With a passion for education and for helping students find a career path, Jodi put marketing on hold and enrolled in the University of California Irvine’s educational consulting program. Combined with countless hours visiting and meeting with college admissions teams, she has grown to deeply understand how to be successful in the admissions process.

Jodi is an active member of the Higher Education Consultants Association (HECA) and the National Association for College Admission Counseling (NACAC). The combination of higher-education knowledge and marketing experience provides unmatched value to students looking to stand out among thousands of applicants nationwide.

Denise Bynum

Denise is a seasoned Independent Educational Consultant with more than a decade of experience guiding students through the college admissions process. With a deep understanding of higher education and a commitment to personalized guidance, she has become a trusted mentor to more than 500 students.

Before independent consulting, Denise spent twelve years with the University of Texas at Austin’s McCombs MBA at DFW program, where her leadership and strategic vision were instrumental in driving student achievement and program excellence. Before McCombs, she served as the inaugural director of the TCU Executive MBA program, laying the foundation for its growth and prominence.

Denise earned her MBA from the McCombs School of Business at the University of Texas at Austin in 2001 and her BBA in Marketing from Texas Christian University in 1990, and worked in manufacturing and sales before turning to higher education. She holds an Independent Education Consultant Certificate from UC Irvine and is an active member of HECA and NACAC.

Denise believes students should be supported and guided as they establish their own goals and desires, and that they should spend real time reflecting on their dreams, interests and capabilities. Through a holistic, personalized approach she works to make the college search enjoyable and to make sure students arrive college-ready, poised for success, and confident.
